FAQs
Asked & answered.
How much does a Crittall-style room divider cost?
It depends on size and configuration, but as a guide most fixed screens land between £1,200 and £2,500 supplied, and glazed walls with doors between £2,500 and £5,500. Because we supply direct, you'll typically pay noticeably less than showroom-brand equivalents. Your quote is fixed and itemised — no surprises.
Are they genuine Crittall windows?
No — "Crittall" is a trademark of Crittall Windows Ltd. Ours are Crittall-style steel-look systems: the same banded-grid aesthetic, engineered for internal use, at a fraction of the heritage-brand price.
How long does it take?
Typically 4–6 weeks from approving your drawing to delivery. Add a day for fitting.
Is the glass safe for family homes?
Yes — every panel is toughened safety glass as standard, the same specification as glass doors and shower screens. Laminated acoustic glass is available as an upgrade.
Can I fit it myself?
Many of our customers do. Frames arrive pre-drilled with a step-by-step guide, and a competent DIYer (or any local joiner) can install a standard screen in a day. Full installation by our team is available UK-wide.
What colours and glass styles can I have?
Matt black is the classic, but any RAL colour is available — including the popular off-whites and bronze tones. Glass options include clear, fluted (reeded), and smoked.
Do you do curved or angled openings?
Yes — send photos with your quote request and we'll confirm what's possible. Sloped ceilings and split-level floors are all handled at the drawing stage.
What if my measurements are wrong?
We double-check every order against your photos before production and flag anything that looks off. If you'd rather not measure at all, add a pre-production survey to your order.
